Keter shelving is designed using durable, maintenance free moulded plastic that's guaranteed to last. Whether you're looking for shelf kits to accessorize your pre-existing Keter shed or a freestanding shelf unit for your wooden shed, garage or utility area, Keter have a wide range of shelving solutions to suit everyone's needs.
These shelves are specifically designed for fitting to the Summit, Orion and Bellevue Keter sheds. The kit has three shelf panels that help to free up your floor space from clutter. Five shelf brackets are included and they are simple to install, fixing to your existing shed posts. In the Summit shed you can add up to three shelf accessory kits.
Depending on the size of your shed you can install one long shelf of 103", or two smaller shelves. Each shelf can hold 14kg, that's 31lbs, and comes with a 7 year guarantee. The price for this accessory kit is around $90, which is pretty good value for a shelving solution that assembles very quickly and gives you quite a lot of storage space.
The freestanding range of Keter shed shelves come in a huge variety of designs. They are great for sheds, garages and storage needs inside the home such as bathrooms and kids' bedrooms. The simplest available is the ventilated, open freestanding shelf unit which ranges from 12" to 24" wide. You can also add drawers to these units, making them better for tools, office equipment or general storage.
The really great thing about these Keter shelves is that being made of plastic they won't rust, dent or stain, so are completely maintenance free. They are also an economical option for adding quick storage to your shed. They assemble in just a few minutes, without any tools, because they only need to be snapped together.
They are light in weight and you can pick up a five tier freestanding unit for under $20 if you shop around. Plus you won't have to pay too much for shipping because they don't weigh so much!
Keter also has a range of storage shelves specifically created for indoor spaces. They are more aesthetically pleasing and with a finish better suited to interior spaces, yet you could also put them in your garden office.
If you're storing a lot of small items, such as tools, gardening pots and DIY equipment you may be better choosing a style that has drawers or a cabinet front. This will prevent things from falling off the shelves every time you try to find something. Larger items, such as pots of paint and storage boxes, will be just fine on open-fronted freestanding units.
